A Voice for the Voiceless

The Ridgecrest Animal Shelter

Managed by the Ridgecrest Police Department

Stands out as a commendable non-profit "no-kill" facility dedicated to the welfare of animals.

Located at 411 County Line Road in Ridgecrest, CA, this shelter emphasizes the importance of community involvement.

It actively seeks donations and volunteers to support its mission.

Donations are crucial for purchasing medical supplies to treat animals in need, such as those with Feline Upper Respiratory Syndrome.

Community members are encouraged to participate in volunteering or providing financial support to help the shelter continue its vital work.

For more details on how you can help or to learn about the adoption process, visit their official website.

People Suck

Animals have no voice, people are the problem. So as a person I try to help, to make up for all the suckers that:

  • Don’t fix their animals
  • Don’t provide for them
  • Dump them

And just all around suck lol

Almost Eden Rescue

Almost Eden Rescue, established in 2014 in Ridgecrest, California, significantly supports the Ridge Crest No Kill Animal Shelter by rescuing dogs from dangerous situations in Kern County.

They operate on a foster-based system to properly assess and ensure each pet is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, or neutered before adoption.

Their mission extends to community education and providing resources like low-cost clinics and a pet food pantry, aiming to reduce shelter overcrowding and euthanasia of adoptable pets.

All their efforts are powered by volunteers and funded through donations. For more details, you can visit their website.
